That’s dumb. I have about every one mentioned in here. I like them all

Marie Sharp always at top for me. Just pick your style.
Was coming to post this. I grow a ton of peppers every year (mainly superhots) and make a lot of my own hot sauce but Marie Sharp's is by far the best sauce I have ever had and it is not even close.

Primo's has an awesome flavor but it's super hot. Porirer's is also good but isn't nearly hot enough - I'll go through a bottle in 2 weeks. I haven't seen Louisiana Gold mentioned and they make a good red sauce. I've been using homemade for about 6 months and love it way more than the store bought stuff.

Chrystal and Red Dot depending on the application. I like most but those are the two that are always in my cabinet at home and at work.

Yes. For whatever reason, it never occurred to my dumb arse to try to buy online. Thanks. Order incoming. Haha

1. Crystal (always first option)
2. Louisiana (if they don’t have Crystal)
Crystal is my favorite because it’s not very hot.
I can pile a lot on if I want for the flavor.
Somebody mentioned Crystal was hotter than Louisiana
And I thought the opposite.
Should I try Louisiana again?

I only keep 3 hot sauces in my fridge.
Crystal
Cholula (for mexican dishes)
Sriracha (for asian or making other sauces)

Some good choices here but I’m partial to Melindas. Carrot base, not vinegar so it holds up well on the shelf.

This is one of my favorites and I was surprised not to see it mentioned more.
I don’t really rank hot sauces because they all have a place on different foods. I’d say the one that I use most often and on the most different foods is the Tabasco cayenne/garlic.

I make my own and use them almost exclusively, but when out in a restaurant and eating a po-boy, I'm using Crystal as my first choice, La. Hot Sauce and then Tabasco brand.
My hot sauce is considerably hotter than many of the local commercial brands and that is more to my liking. I make mine with a combination of Habanero, Trinidad Scorpion Butch T's and Ghost peppers.

Do you use the same recipe you shared with me with these peppers. I recently did yours with nothing but reapers. Great flavor but boy it’s hot!!

Yes. That is my go-to recipe for hot sauce and it only depends on the heat level of the peppers that determine the heat level of the finished product------as you well know with Carolina Reapers as your base.
