try the tomato pie at St Pizza on magazine and I guarantee you will change your mind on that
I did, and I agree. Probably the best pie I’ve ever had in NO

Read an article today that says Prince Street pizza is opening this week - 10/9.

an article I read today said they are changing the mineral content here to make it match the NYC water taste and content. I think the article was on 225 magazine's site

Just checked out the prices - it ain't cheap!
$40+ for an 18" pizza?
They won't last a year on Siegen Lane.

To be fair, this thing will feed 4 people easily. Try to feed a family of 4 for $40 at another pizza place. You'll easily spend over $50 for two large pizzas.

Thee are plenty of pizza places in BR that you can get 2 large pizza's under 50 bucks. And not just places like Dominos or Marco's. Red Zeppelin and Pizza Artista are both around 30-.00 35.00 for two larges. Even cheaper at Red Zeppelin during happy hour.

2 Prince St Pizzas, yes, 2 regular thin crust pizzas, no.

Not sure where you’re getting pizzas from, but I can get two larges from Dominos for under $20. I can get 2 larges from just about any other place for under $30-$35. I assume their business model is to cater more to the lunch crowd who come in and grab a slice or two.

now in my 60th year I’ve eaten a lot of pizza most of it mediocre. 25 bucks for a quality pizza is not in any way a problem for me
Assuming the pizza is better than dominos (
) I don’t think price is going to decide whether this new place makes it or not

You've gone from 1 Prince St. Pizza can feed 4 to 2 can feed 4. The image you posted I believe is a $41.
$82 to feed a family of 4 pizza certainly is on the very high end. This pizza is going to have to be head and shoulders above everything else.

The line wasn’t for the pizza, it was to meet Jon Jones.

Nail on the head right here. This type of pizza is somewhat of an art form. You’re gonna wind up with the disgruntled worker who just drug up from Cowboy Chicken or Smalls Sliders.

I know I’ll be downvoted but no way it’s as good as Fleur de Lis was. My all time favorite pizza in BR.

Has anyone tried it yet? Do they serve alcohol?

I went for lunch today.
- 1 slice of 4 cheese
- 1 slice of the Naughty Pie
- 1 slice of the Spicy Spring
- 1 slice of the Oakey Smokey
The thick crust square pizza isn’t my favorite. When I eat pizza, I like to eat multiple slices and multiple slices of Prince Street pizza would probably require a nap afterwards.
The pizzas are all on display when you walk in, but after you order they grab your slice and put it back in the oven. Being one of the first people in the store at opening, I was kind of surprised by this.
The Oakey Smokey (most similar to a marghareta) was my favorite. I shared the rest of the slices with my office mates, and the Naughty Pie (spicy vodka sauce, pepperoni, mozzarella, whipped ricotta, hot honey) was the favorite.
I was 13th in line when they opened today. Walked in at 11 and was out by 11:20. $39.62 after tip
