Ristorante Filippo Metairie
is such a great little neighborhood place. I used to go to wind down after work when I saw clients in that area.

Lee's Asian Fusion and Randazzos in Denham Springs. Good food and very reasonable prices.

LOL! That’s definitely hidden. I lived in BR for years before I knew about that place.

I was going there for lunch about once a week for a while, but there was a lady working there who always made suggestions and then if I didn’t order what she suggested she would be insulted. It was awkward, so I finally quit going. The other people there were nice, yes.

It might be one of the few things that hasn't gone up much due to inflation. He dropped a couple things at times when they got unreasonable rather than charge an enormous price.

Makes the best BLT (he calls it a BacHam burger) I've ever had.

Does great fried turkeys and smoked hams for thanksgiving too

I've had damn near everything on the menu there multiple times. I just snapped that pic as a comparison to canes "fingers".
That's cheaper than a regular meal at canes.

And are they that big? Look normal on the phone

Side note: I remember everyone's favorite burger for ages was best burger in Livonia before it closed down. TD was on it's dick for ages back in the late 2000s.

Get the family meal and its 12 pounds (I weighed it) for <30 dollars. Delicious too

China Bear is 10 minutes away on Bluebonnet and its so much better. Same menu as every strip mall Chinese place but really good food and great owners.

I consider Riverside Patty in BR somewhat hidden, even though it's been around forever. You can't see it from Siegen and I always discover people who haven't heard of it.

Another good one is Chef Charles Bistreaux. They recently moved to Bluebonnet (near Albasha). It's pricey in the evenings and on weekends but the weekday lunch is very reasonable and excellent.

Ben's Deli in Gulfport.

Overstuffed Poboys, lo mein, fried rice. Incredible value.

We will give it a try.

We aren’t Chinese connoisseurs, but we are looking for good, solid food.
