No. Vinegar is a natural antibacterial substance, so there's no need to refrigerate it. I don't like cold sauces on my hot food, which is why I don't put it in. Flavors may last longer in fridge though, so to each his own

Definitely not! But I don't refrigerate ketchup nor mayo. Personal preferences rule!

I dont
A cold hot sauce sounds too oxymoronic for my tastes.

Not anymore. Moved our vinegar and Tabasco from fridge to the cabinet a couple months ago.

Kind of like "Jumbo Shrimp".

Sriracha or other hot sauces with sugar in them, yes. Regular 'ol vinegar-based hot sauces, no. Have a whole cabinet shelf full of it.

Has never even crossed my mind

Let’s see here, on the one hand you can refrigerate hot sauce and have it retain its quality, freshness and appearance for a longer period of time. On the other hand you can have the exact opposite. Decisions, decisions

Have y’all seen a bottle of hot sauce that has spent 6 months unrefrigerated vs on that has been refrigerated 6 months? If so, and you still prefer the unrefrigerated version, you’re throwed off.

Well yea. Things last longer in the refrigerator.

I do. I have had them separate at room temperature. They do not refrigerated. Taste wasn’t compromised but color and solids separating out was.

This happens with my parents’ hot sauce but mine maybe makes it a month or two.

Not good enough to buy if so.

Some of it, yes. I just counted 11 different varieties in my fridge, including a gigantic bottle of Louisiana I got from Sam’s. The point is, why not keep your hot sauce the freshest it could possibly be? Only reasons not to that that I can see is you have limited fridge space, or you’re on of those people who think a few shots of cool hot sauce on your hot food will make it icky. Which is absurd

I don’t refrigerate mine but I really only have three hot sauces I use regularly (Valentina Extra Hot, Crystal Garlic, and Louisiana Hot Sauce) and have never had them long enough where they separate or the flavor changes noticeably.
If I bought a quart or whatever of Louisiana? Yeah would probably throw that in the fridge.
