2 large pizzas & breadsticks for 52.00 is ridiculous

There's a deal on their website that would've cut his order by $20. The manger had to have known that but he was probably acting up so he didn't give it to him.

For $52, you could almost buy a clearance grill from Lowe's.

You are posting on a thing called the internet. It is a portal to the entirety of human knowledge, plus some weird porn. Part of this internet is online commerce. Companies can build a thing called a "website" that allows you to browse their products and then place an order. In certain cases, one can procure a coupon code and use it to reduce the price. It's simply amazing.

explains he is ecstatic the promotion ended. It took too long to make the pizza and it’s nothing but a regular pepperoni.

So it’s just a regular pepperoni, but it took too long to make? That doesn’t make sense.

Don’t get me wrong - I think it’s stupid too that the only way to get normal prices is to specifically ask for the special deals in the ads or to order through the website. But it has been this way with the specials for 30 years.

OP, how have you made it this long without knowing this?

So did you leave your house with the only purpose of driving to a Papa John's?

I didn't believe this so I went on their website to place a carryout order...$44. With tax about $48.

Two crappy pizzas and bread with cheese almost $50...good lord what a rip off.

I don't disagree, but you can get this via the special deals for significantly less money. It has been this way as long as I've been alive. Just back before online ordering, you called and listened to the specials or you referenced a special from the paper ad.

Their website shows right now a deal for a large speciality pizza + large 2-topping pizza for $25, and the cheesesticks/breadsticks for $6 (from the mix and match your own sides special deal menu).

I always thought the whole song and dance of having to order from their specials instead of off the regular menu was kinda slimy, but figured we've reached a point where everyone knows this is what you have to do. Some of you have me thinking I was wrong about that..

Oh trust me, on those rare occasions we order pizza it's always with the site coupons. And after two very bad delivery experiences, I just drive the couple blocks and pick the pizzas up myself. Kind of peace of mind knowing you are actually getting your food.

I guess because I've never really used the regular menu that I couldn't believe it would be that expensive.

OP must be a legendary TD baller to not care or just was blinded by anger to pay that amount.

Well that doesn't make sense. Then why doesn't a regular pepperoni take too long.

Shaq knew the secret to a good pizza and it just happens to involve taking a few minutes to make it right.

So what is it? You’re crying the manager didn’t have on a mask but you think they are useless?

Can you show your math? I'm having a hard time wrapping my head around how 2 pizzas and bread sticks cost $52.
