Papa John’s can suck it

So I lose this battle every 4-5 years. Drove to the Prairieville location today. Walk in. Young kid waiting on me. Has a mask on. Me too. My wife wanted to try the Shaqaroni pizza. Kid ask me “Delivery or take out?” Well, seeing I’m already here, I don’t think I will be getting it delivered now there Scooter. Order the Shaqaroni. Response—We don’t have those. What? Wife saw the commercial yesterday. That’s what started this shite show in the first place. Apparently this promotion ended yesterday. Ok fine. At this point the manager takes over for the young kid and explains he is ecstatic the promotion ended. It took too long to make the pizza and it’s nothing but a regular pepperoni. Place the adjusted order of 2 large thin crust. One pepperoni and one meat lovers. Also an order of cheesy breadsticks. Tab $52!!! Took the breadsticks off the order. Oh yeah, the whole time the manager was taking our order, he had no mask on. Done.

As the resident pizza expert, I can say without reservation that Papa John's is terrible chain pizza, a smidgen higher than Pizza Hut. If you want decent chain pizza, try Domino's next time. The large three topping carryout special for 7.99 is the best pizza deal in America and is available every day of the week. The best part? Every Domino's employee is conscientious about wearing a mask.

I don't know if Roma is as good as it was 10 years ago. But it's got to better in Prairieville than Papa John's.

Didn’t ask for the manager. Could give a shite who serves me as long as I get what I ask for. As far as the mask, they are useless. If our dipstick governor didn’t mandate this shite, I wouldn’t be wearing one. And yes, Domino’s is my go to pizza but I did start the thread with the fact that I lost that battle.
