My boy LNCHBOX recommended this place last year and I checked their site out...they looked incredible. Never got around to ordering one though. Won't make that mistake again. I think the place was just some guys name (first and last) and he said its one of his favorite traditions to go wait in line and smell em. Anyone got any idea what place I'm talking about? I'll get one shipped as soon as I find out

Navarre's in Springfield has the best king cakes I've ever had. All of them are awesome but I prefer strawberry filled.

I don't see the point in falling for Manny's false demand that he's created....he purposefully makes way less king cakes than demanded so that people wait 2 hours in line to get a "Randazzos" product. His ex wife's king cakes taste pretty similar and you don't have to get in line at 6 am for them.

You'd be surprised.

I'm making it a goal this year to try a few King Cakes I've never had before--i.e. Hi Do, Maurice's, Domenica, O'Delice, etc.

I'm preferential to Antoine's, although they have used a little too much icing in recent years. They tend to stay moist longer than a lot of other places, and I really don't like stale king cake.

I also like Poupart's French King cake filled with sort of an almond custard.
