re: Extended Stay / Living Abroad in Europe - kfizzle85
Booked the flight for this last week, MSY->PHL->Budapest early July. Plans updated to basically stay in Budapest for 2 weeks, train to Vienna for a weekend or so, train to Prague for another two weeks and then train/fly to Amsterdam first week of August through first week of October, then AMS->LHR->...

re: Paris and Barcelona Restaurants - kfizzle85
Bar Casa Ricardo in the Marina district is awesome. You got to go off the main drag a block or so but there's a handful of little nondescript places. Them little fried fish with a squeeze of lemon and a glass of Estrella is a state of bliss everyone deserves to achieve in their life....

re: Global Entry timeline UPDATE: Conditional Approval - kfizzle85
Was following this thread for awhile. Applied 2/14 approved 5/08. No open interviews in NOLA until September. :Casty: The scheduling app on the website is terrible. I had to keep changing the date to get NOLA to show up, then once I did it showed a few available spots in June, but only 2. ...

re: tOfficial Liverpool 2018/2019 Thread: BACK TO BACK CHAMPIONS LEAGUE FINALS!! - kfizzle85
I'm going to Amsterdam in August for 2 months so I've been watching a lot of Ajax this year. I don't think they've played anyone with Pool speed and I think Pool wins but I much rather play Spurs. Feel for Ajax, about to get sold off....

Jabra Active 65t build quality - kfizzle85
Looking for some new earphones. These come up on some of the traditional websites as the "best" Airpod alternatives, but the Amazon reviews are incredibly spotty with regards to build quality (lots of reviews of breaking in first 3 months) and customer service. Anyone used these or have any thoug...

re: Home delivered meal programs.... - kfizzle85
I've used them for a few years. Won't necessarily get you higher protein presuming yours is currently not where you want it to be, but I find them very effective for controlling caloric intake with little to no effort while still giving you some optionality in your meal consumption....

re: Extended Stay / Living Abroad in Europe - kfizzle85
I think it's a steep learning curve tbh. But also, jmo, I took Spanish growing up and as a 30-something year old adult I feel like you kind of know the process +conjugation, sentence formation etc) and then back into the memorization of vocabulary. The apps help tremendously with hearing though whic...

re: Extended Stay / Living Abroad in Europe - kfizzle85
I know I don't need to learn it, I'm doing it because I want to. It's a good excuse to if nothing else and I'm not trying to achieve fluency, just be conversational and not totally lost when people do speak it. I actually don't find it that difficult all things being equal, but it definitely takes s...

re: Extended Stay / Living Abroad in Europe - kfizzle85
This trip I reduced down to a month in Vienna and 2 months in Amsterdam. I will probably take the direct from NOLA to London in and out simply so I can write it off. I'll be in London for 3 days or so but the bulk of the trip is Amsterdam and Vienna and my intent is to stay in those cities and take ...

re: Extended Stay / Living Abroad in Europe - kfizzle85
It’s still 90 per 180 though. I’m just going to go back in another 3 months and basically live in NOLA / place of my choosing in Europe, but I think I want to do Buenos Aires next....
