I call BS on this unless you’re picking it up and buying the most expensive frozen pizza there is. With all the delivery fees etc the frozen pizza is cheaper.

Grocery store right up the road from my house often puts Tony’s frozen pizza on sale for less than $3 a piece. I’ll buy three and eat it and have leftovers for lunch the next day. It’s far from the best pizza but it’s easy and very cheap. We’re living in times where it’s pretty hard to eat cheap.

frick it, I love frozen pizza.
Get the oven good and hot, rub some olive oil on the bottom of any thin crust pizza, add some extra mozzerella and toppings and put it on a cheap pizza stone you bought off of Amazon, put 2 or 3 ice cubes in a metal tray underneath the pizza stone, let it cook and it will hit the spot every time.
The secret is thin crust, pizza stone and 2 or 3 ice cubes in an ice tray underneath the pizza stone.

I pick up. I don’t do delivery. If I can’t go get I do without. And I’m talking the $5.99/$7.99 pick up specials which are close enough to frozen. I do like Totinos, too, of all pizzas, lol. It’s been a while, though.

Aldi's had Pizzaria Uno's and Lou Malnatti's frozen deep dish the other day. Haven't made them yet.

Home Run Inn Pizza on BOGO is $3-$4. Their crust is unique.
Motor City Detroit Style is also very good, as has been already mentioned.
Aldi used to sell a Gino’s East Deep Dish that was very good and reasonably priced the last time I had one.
Notice a theme here, no rising crust or NY Style crusts listed.
The major pizza chains use a ton of frozen and canned ingredients. If you think their dough is fresh, you might smoke crack.

I love a cheap Totino’s pepperoni……I always add a bunch of pickled jalapeños and a layer of shredded cheese on top of that.

The previous owner of Pete's Out In The Cold kept a miniature oven underneath the bar. He would pop in some shitty, store bought frozen pizza and for $8 you had a bar snack. It was probably because of the numerous adult beverages already imbibed, but they were always absolutely delicious.

Late night oven junk with 2 - 17 year olds and their friends after Friday night football games. Frozen Tombstone, chicken tenders, pizza rolls, bagel bites, taquitos, cheese sticks, egg rolls, etc.

Big fan of Motor City frozen pizza. They taste good and cook very consistent for a thicker pizza unlike Digiorno.
I wished my Costco carried the supreme version; they just have the double peperroni.
