Is there ever a occasion to buy a frozen pizza?

Heck, Little Caesars better and less than some frozen pizzas.

Sometimes during Lent I'll buy an Amy's margherita pizza for dinner on Friday nights. That's it.

I'll take a Frozen Motor City Detroit style over Little Caesars any day.

Little Caesars does have some great pricing for fairly good pizza.
Have you tried one of these yet?

For kids that are only going to eat a cheese or pepperoni its too easy to pull one from the freezer and bake it.

If, and only if, it’s Totino’s Party Pizza…

Costco's food court sells a huge pepperoni pizza for $9 + tax and that thing is about 18 inches across. Great bargain.
And yes, the wife will sometimes buy the frozen Kirkland Pepperoni Pizzas for a quick meal every once in a while. She will add some fresh cut up onion, bell pepper, sliced mushrooms and a little extra cheese before baking it.
Not bad for a quick meal.

Laziness.
And that’s not meant negatively. It’s a perfectly good reason to have some frozen pizzas in the freezer.

Frozen pizzas have gotten a little out of hand on the prices. Seems crazy to spend $10 on a frozen pizza.

Any frozen pizza cooked on a Weber kettle grill is actually pretty good. Don't believe me? Waste a dollar on a totinos and prove me right

I keep a few of the Screamin Sicilian pepperonis in the freezer for nights when the weather is shitty and we don't feel like going out or waiting 2 hours for delivery. There's a time and a place for them for sure.

Friend,
Try as I did to enjoy Anthony Mangieri’s frozen pizza line, but I could not, in the end, convince my taste buds that even his frozen pizzas were worth my time.
Saving being saved from starvation, there is never an appropriate occasion or type of frozen pizza that is acceptable to a true pizza aficionado. A pizza is fundamentally its dough, and dough should never be frozen.
One should never value the pizza opinions of those who enjoy frozen pizzas.
Yours,
TulaneLSU

Not when I can get Dominos for same price as a frozen. Although I did find a really good tavern crust with an Italian name at Aldi, but haven’t found it there again. I’d buy that one. Screamin’ Sicilian is good, but can still get Dominos for same price on special.

I always keep a Red Barron or Paul Newman's in the freezer for a quick weekend dinner or drunk food. I always slice up some tomato and add to it. The Red Barron is about $6 and the Newman $9.

But you can put frozen pizzas in your freezer and scratch that itch when not wanting to leave the house. And it's still generally always cheaper. I still buy a $5ish frozen pizza once a month when doing my grocery store shopping.

Usually I don’t get home from work until 2045-2100. It’s convenient at times to take a frozen pizza (pretty much always bought on BOGO deals), add some mushroom, onion, and/or cheese, and have it ready in 25 minutes. I always keep 3-4 in the freezer.

I get Costco's frozen cheese pizzas and add to them with whatever is in the fridge. Makes a decent cheap pizza for about $4.

These are still relatively cheap and can be doctored up for not much more money. When it’s done right they will beat any of the national chains IMO.

TulaneLSU,
I am willing to try any and all frozen pizzas but you got to tell me which grocery store.
I take this boards advice. They are never wrong.
Sincerely

Most definitely. Days when it is raining or time runs out and you just don't feel like going to pick something up or waiting on pizza to be delivered. Nothing wrong with having these on hand.
and as always
I bought this one but have not tried it yet ?
