Do yourself a favor and order the Stella Supreme. Was taken off the menu several years ago but servers tell me it’s still on the “oldies menu”. Layer of grouper topped with shrimp and a cream sauce loaded up with a ton of melty cheese in a bake. It’s insanely good.

I think that may trigger some folks on here. Personally I would destroy it.

That restaurant must be over 50 years old by now. Got to be doing something good.

I could swear that Harbor Docks in Destin also served that dish at one time.

Or wear white after Labor Day.

Unless you want to wear white in November to go get a fillet of fish from McDonalds. If that is the case, all bets are off.

It's a good general rule if you realize there CAN be exceptions.

That dish doesn't look like it would make my list of exceptions.

I dig good crabmeat au gratin every few years, though.

I'd have to ask them for no cheese.

El Tiempo has a Pescado a "la Jana" on their menu. Redfish topped with serrano peppers, garlic & cheese. I don't do cheese on fish, so I always have them keep it off, and that dish is awesome. My favorite thing at that restaurant.

Pretty sure it’s either grouper or amberjack. It’s rich but REALLY good. I wish I’d taken another pic of how it looks on inside . After the others in my group had a bite they all were second guessing their orders.

I'd try it but looks like cheddar.
I think a milder cheese may be a better option.

Great point! Red Lobster has been in business for 53 years. They got to be serving good seafood.

LOL
So true. I have to laugh sometimes and my elderly father. He likes to always point out that if a restaurant has a lot of cars in the parking lot they must be serving good food.

Correct. They know how to run a business and bravo to them. But doesn’t mean the food is “good”.
