I'll be in the area in a few weeks for a bachelor trip and we are looking for places to go for dinner that are more upscale than the typical beach bar/restaurant.

We already have reservations at Cobalt for one of the nights.

The gulf is solid place to grab food and a few beers.

Fishers upstairs is first class. Voyagers in Perdido Beach Resort is really good as well surprisingly for being a hotel restaurant. Cobalt has a great location but has been hit or miss last couple of years but when it’s on it can be very good too, it’s just not Fishers.

Fisher's Upstairs is pretty good, Big Fish has decent sushi.

Cobalt was a nice restaurant to dine but the food was nothing to write home about.

It is surely not upscale but we went to Big Mikes Steakhouse a few weeks ago when we were there. The Ribeye was phenomenal.

They also had some good oysters. Its busy as shite though, get there early.

Fisher's was pretty bad when we ate there earlier this summer. It had always been solid, but all 4 of us were underwhelmed with it.

I have had a great experience at Fishers upstairs every time I’ve been, including earlier this summer

New place called fin and fork I believe. Just ate there last week. The gulf was decent but packed.

Get the Caribbean fish or the seafood platter

Also, even with a reservation the place will be slammed at it isnt a quick meal

But they tell you that in advance and have decent beer and drinks

Anyone ever had Doc's shrimp? I always see the advertisement saying they're the best price for the anywhere, and have them at curious to try them
