Funny because they are known as some of the nicest guys in music.

To be fair it was their stage crew. In my young mind the band was guilty by association. JBs nieces live around the corner from us and I’ve heard nothing but good things about him

Was my first thought too—granted in Mobile

When I was in college in the mid 90’s WSP played on our baseball field and the team was volunteered to help set up. I remember thinking they were the biggest a-holes after that experience. I’m sure we were being disrespectful and were probably more in the way than helpful but It took me years to start listening to them again.

Grabbed the three day general admission.
Should be a great time
I was honestly most impressed with Riojas when we played you guys. He had great command
My wife’s cousin has a pizza truck in Omaha. He’s easy to find for anyone going to the CWS

Grilled cheese trucks and hot dog trucks seem to do well

Ate at Hope Farm last night and it was amazing. Everything we had was top notch. My daughter and I each had the short rib. My wife had the royal red pasta that she said was really good. My son had the wagyu burger.
They’ve got a martini cart that will make whatever kind of martini you want.

Jesse’s Saturday night was great too. The bone marrow butter option for the ribeye is an absolute must. I ordered it on the side instead of as a topping. The crawfish mac and cheese were outstanding.

Kingfisher Friday night has a really cool vibe. My wife’s entree was probably the best—pecan crusted drum. My son’s shrimp and grits were great too. I had the skin on drum which was ok—a little plain. Nice beer selection as you’d expect
Ended up winning $562k!

In only her third professional start!

We are heading there today for a long weekend

Eating at Kingfisher tonight for the first time. Also doing hope farm and Jesse’s
Jesse’s is probably my favorite restaurant down there but there are so many good options like others have mentioned.

Went there a couple weekends ago and had a great meal

Mr Bossfloss himself!

Yep everything LE said regarding Portland
Central provisions is also my favorite. We did a tasting menu at the bar
Duckfat, Honey Paw, Street & Co, Eventide all worth checking out
Mash tun was probably my favorite bar

Tons of breweries—my favorite area was around allagash. It’s an industrial area with about 5 other breweries. Battery Steele was probably my favorite. Austin street is good too
Oxbow is a short drive away but worth checking out if you’re into wilds and saisons
