It's not as good as it was years ago. But it is OK.
The biscuits are ok, not like they used to be.
Now the chicken sandwich is legit. Not bad at all.
I'll still go for a shrimp po-boy sometimes since there isn't a lot of options here in Fort Worth for po-boys.

Damn son. Had Popeye's Sunday for the first time in two months and it was glorious. Wife orders off the app too. So much easier. 4pc spicy w/beans. Opened the box and see only 3pcs. Said well I guess the good Lord is looking out for me. Wife went into the app and got credited back for it. Seems like it's way too easy to game the system like that if someone were so inclined.

Popeyes is broken. It's a shining example of a business with a great product that is horribly managed. I've given up on Popeyes after too many fricked up orders, shitty execution and horrendous service.

I hadn't been in years, too. Just none around here. A new store opened a few months ago just a couple miles away. Have been twice. Food has been good although a little slow as expected. Order online is a huge improvement over the old drive thru BS.
Last time they had a special. 6 tenders and 2 regular sides for $11.99. Red beans sucked. Seasoned fries were ok but I'd rather regular fries. No cajun rice.

A couple of years ago my wife and I got Popeye's in Weatherford TX (the store being part of an interstate truck stop). The pieces were so small we knew it had to be pigeon pieces.

I understand, they hate me, so I hate them right back and I never went go there. I wish it was different because the chicken is decent, but I just can't give my money to people who hate a certain shade of customer.

But yes Popeyes is near the bottom. When I get a chicken craving now, I just usually go get some from a gas station and avoid the shite show of Popeyes.

I've said this before, but I swear this issue must be isolated to the South.
The Popeyes around me are remarkably quick, and I can't remember the last issue I had with an order.
