Popeyes stopped doing Cajun Rice when they realized that South Carolina chicken restaurant made better Cajun rice than they did.

If Popeyes had McDonalds level service it would be the best fast food chain in the country.

The food they serve would still be awful.

You’d just get it quicker.

I've said this before, but I swear this issue must be isolated to the South. The Popeyes around me are remarkably quick, and I can't remember the last issue I had with an order.

Ditto here. The service between the Popeyes here and in South Carolina is like night and day.

the only acceptable order at Popeyes is spicy dark meat, red beans/rice, a biscuit and unsweet tea. Had you ordered correctly you’d have been just fine

Agree except with mashed potatoes and gravy and two extra biscuits.

Popeye's is tasty, but always gives me both diarrhea and horrible stomach aches.

Popeye's, and later Southern Classic, I'm sure are behind my pancreas going bad. Used to order a bunch and eat it for most of a week about 4 times a month till a few years ago. I'd do the sides myself at home but the chicken and biscuits got me hooked and are doing me in.

Popeyes is broken. It's a shining example of a business with a great product that is horribly managed. I've given up on Popeyes after too many fricked up orders, shitty execution and horrendous service.

This!

I like Popeyes…I never eat it. You know you’ve “accomplished” something when you stand out among a sea of terrible fast food workers.

The other day I was on the road traveling to a meeting. At lunch time I saw a Popeyes at the upcoming exit and figured I’d drive through to get a chicken sandwich. It would probably be the first time I’d eaten Popeyes in 3-4 years

When I finally got to the speaker I was greeted by a “friendly” voice (read: not friendly at all). I ordered the fried chicken sandwich only to be told “I ain’t got no mo’ fried chicken sandwiches”.

So I said, “Ok, just give me the blackened chicken sandwich.” The response: “They frozen in the back”.

My response: “frick it. I’m out of here”.

TOTALLY USELESS

Someone should investigate why that might be the case?

Sounds like the Bojangles nearest me that went out of business because they couldn't find decent employees. Worst run fast food restaurant I've ever seen.
