I'd eat it. Kids don't seem to eat bologna sandwiches much anymore either. Yeah none of it is good for you yet somehow everyone is fatter now

Fried spam and mustard sandwich on a fishing trip is the perfect meal.

Get the low sodium. It tastes the same but a lot less salty.

I love a good fried spam sandwich but no one else in the house will eat it. Have not had one in years.

Fried spam is delicious. My kids and I will tear it up but the wife hates it. It’s also shelf stable for longer than anyone cares to admit so a great prepper item too

When I'm eating low carb, I like eating sliced fried spam like that. You gotta get the less sodium version though, which is still plenty salty enough.

Every time I'm out of town, Mr. Momma always has SPAM. I don't hate it,. But I don't really love it either, so the house always has that SPAM-Y smell when I get home

You're not slicing it thin enough. Slice it thinner and fry it bacon crispy.

My third kid's favorite meal is fried spam and coconut rice.

Sometimes I'll fry an egg to put on top.

Broke out the fine China this AM after my long run. I had forgotten how amazing this is. Thanks for the reminder!

Next up corned beef hash and salmon patties!

I blame you, this thread, and the power of suggestion, which forced me to buy a can of Spam (lower sodium) and have it for lunch two days in a row.

The dogs will get the leftovers.

Today’s lunch was Spam and eggs.

Yesterday’s lunch was Spam and cheddar quesadillas.

My favorite meal growing up was a spam and potato casserole my mom made in the oven with pork and beans as a side. I finally realized as an adult that we had it so often because there were 6 people to feed and we didn’t have a lot of money. I would always look for the slightly charred pieces of both spam and potatoes when serving myself. I would love to be able to have one more spam casserole meal with my momma!
