I don’t think you can beat a good Port wine. If you don’t like port, more than likely you haven’t had a good port wine

I’m by no means a wine expert or even a regular drinker, but my wife and I are Pinot Noir drinkers when we have wine. We are partial to Willamette Valley, OR. No idea why, just where we landed.

I like a big body. So Cotes du Rhone and Shiraz for me. Cab also does just fine - and is doing it right now.

I'm a white wine type. Piesporter, either Spatlese or Auslese, not the cheap Michelsberg though.

I like to pair mine with my food so I like all types. But if we’re talking my go to just open a bottle then it’d be cab or petite Syrah.
