We also buy about 5-6 cases a year of Chianti from the Agriturismo we stayed at a few years ago south of Florence. We can have that shipped over cheaper than buying wine at Total Wine. We add some olive oil and presecco that comes in unmarked bottles to the order too.

It’s more expensive now with tariffs and COVID protocol shipping. For $1100 worth of wine I get hit with another 350 euro in shipping and all that. Still, I’m getting exactly what I want from a producer I love.
ETA: that gets me 31/2-4 cases of wine plus six cans of primo olive oil.

I am also interested in seeing this link.
I have been to Tuscany four times, the last time in 2018. We stay at a villa in that region south of Florence which is in the heart of Chianti Classico country. We have tried some incredible Tuscan wines over there and have carried a bunch of them home, but we have never had any shipped.
We do get olive oil shipped. It is expensive but delicious.

One of our favorite Tempranillo vineyards, Pedernales in the Hill Country. Some places make a good Tempranillo occasionally. These guys usually have several.

My gf doesn’t drink wine and I always want
to open a sweet bottle of wine for the hell of it, but I don’t want to drink it by myself. So whenever I have friends over I always habe the urge to open the good stuff

The grape is tempranillo, but in their neck of the woods, it's called tinto fino. Ribera del Duero.
Mauro is also fantastic, and I can't remember how they define themselves as DOO. Maybe Castilla y León. They blend often, but also deliver 'tinto fino'.

Portugal has some of the best Port wine ever. I have 2-3 bottles I bought before i left there.

You can get a Coravin system. Then you can pour a glass out of a bottle and retain the freshness in the rest of the bottle. Also, better wines that are meant to age can be opened and easily stay fresh or even open up more over a few days. Some people will decant certain wines for days instead of hours.

Get a rabbit or similar. I've found it will keep a bottle fresh for at least a couple days.
