so you're still arguing that outside of diabetics that food is food and calories are all created equal?

I don't think fat is bad for you, but I also don't think eating extremely processed fast food (with or without bun) is a healthy option.
Sorry for answering the question OP asked. You came into this thread to be a douche.

Tacobell without shells.
Double cheeseburger with mustard onion and pickles - no bun from MC D's
Unwich from Tommy John's
Sub in a tub from Jersey Mike's
Protein bowl from Subway
Every BBQ place I ever entered has pulled pork by the pound (Quarter pound or half pound) order with no sauce.
Most, but not all BBQ places have smoked ribs with no sauce. Many have smoked turkey with no BBQ sauce. Many will sell you a side salad with oil and vinegar, or ranch.
Arbies has no bun options for beef, gyro, turkey, etc.
Burger king will do their burger with no ketchup or bun.
CFA has two or three salads that are keto friendly
McAlisters and Nukes both have keto friendly salads
Some pizza places have pizza in a bowl - no crust.
Popeyes has non fried chicken nuggets
A chicken, shrimp or fish Caesar Salad is usually keto friendly.
Many Greek places will sell you Greek meat and a keto friendly salad (no pita bread)
Wendy's has a chicken salad (I think)
Many other places will sell you a scoop of tuna salad or chicken salad on lettuce.
Go to a steak place and have a steak and green salad, or broccoli. No bread or potato. We tell them right away to not bring one of those great bread plates. When we tell them no potato, they will usually substitute a more friendly vegetable.
Forget potatoes, rice and breaded fried stuff. When you get there, almost every fish menu has one or more keto friendly (Good for you) fish dishes. You can make keto friendly soups and gumbos. You just can't talk about them here. Treat them like a tasty/dirty family secret and you will be fine.
You can have broiled oysters, just not the bread. We did this at Half Shell a month back and the waiter must have stood there talking to us about keto for 20 minutes while his other customers waited.
Most of the time, you can eat Ranch, thousand island, oil and vinegar, balsamic salad dressings. Get them to dust with some parmesan and bring you a couple of lemons. Tastes great.
I have not mentioned any thing here that we have not ordered and enjoyed.
Stay away from ketchup and BBQ sauce.
There are probably more options I have forgotten that we have eaten.
If you are very careful, You can eat a keto meal at Piccadilly's (Roast beef, salad, broccoli with cheese sauce).
Is it difficult - Not as bad as you think, once you understand how bad fast food is for you - calories, fat and carbs. We have been Keto for a year now. I have lost 75 pounds and have no craving for most of the things I once gobbled down daily, with no thought to the bad side of eating them.
I doubt I will ever go back. BP, cholesterol, blood sugar are all center or low side of where my internist and cardiologist want me to be.

I have been on keto for 5 years. My go to is a burger lettuce wrap. BBQ is every where. Jimmie Johns does their sandwiches as a lettuce wrap. Plenty of options.

Popeyes has blackened tenders as well

When it comes to weight loss the only way to lose weight is being in a caloric deficit. Doesnt matter if its Keto, anabolic, weight watchers, vegan, liquid diet, or whatever the new fad is.
He simply asked about losing weight and keto. Now if you want to get into building muscle and losing fat, thermogencis, and each individuals specific needs we can.

No, he mentioned keto being good for diabetics and people wanting to lose a few. Then, he asked about keto options for fast food.
You then chimed in with your keto comment.

Low carb FF go to was Chick-fil-A grilled chicken nuggets & a super food salad. They discontinued the sfs & replaced it with a kale crunch salad.
I haven't been in awhile but, I think they replaced the kcs with a kale caesar salad.
It's not keto due to lack off fat content but it's a great low carb FF option.

Thanks to all contributors, I knew most of them, but there were a few I had not heard of, of course cooking at home is the best. Tonight I'm doing stir fry with leftover chicken, a handful of cashews for crunch.

can do wings. just not breaded. my goto is non breaded wings with lemon pepper and ranch. the buffalo sauces are pretty good just have to stay away from the sweet sauces.

Isnt it just easier to watch your carbs, which in turn, will help you not eat so many calories. I just dont see the need with going full on keto unless you are wildly overweight and need to shock the system but for most damn near zero carbs is just not sustainable.

Fast food sucks, keto or not.
--Buy canned or pouches of tuna--it won't go bad riding around in your briefcase or backpack, it is easily eaten out of the can/pouch with a squeeze packet of mayo/mustard stirred in, and some of the higher-end brands (like Wild Planet) aren't remotely fishy. Add cucumber spears or a handful of cherry tomatoes or whatever veg meets your dietary program for some crunch and nutrients.
--Nut butter is sold in single-serving pouches. Buy a boxful. They also don't go bad riding around in your car. Almond butter or unsweetened peanut butter on a celery stalk is tasty w/great crunch.
Avoiding fast food just requires basic planning & a stash of keto-friendly shelf stable foods in your car. Not hard with a little thinking ahead.

Yep. The bumble bee pouches are very convenient. They come with a spork and you can get some with different flavors. Some do have a little sugar but others dont. This is a snack a few days a week for me. All kinds of things you can do if your goal is to be healthy and not worry too much about flavor for every meal.

It seems to me that the saturated fat in all of the lower quality keto food is terrible for LDL. Lean meat, fruit, veggies, beans, whole grains are better health alternatives

I don't know what to tell you. He didn't mention that he had diabetes until later, but he mentions it in general in the OP, and that doesn't appear to have been edited.

This is kind of an antiquated view. Saturated fat in and of itself is not bad for you.

Could have told him a grilled chicken sandwich without the bun. But no, somehow the baconator is the key to weight loss
