Love a good BLT. I'll usually add sharp cheddar cheese. BLTC!

Miracle Whip takes BLT sandwiches to the next level.

One of the only things I use it for.

I rarely make my own sandwiches. So time and ingredients are not a factor, making a BLT a subpar choice.

Plus, you have to cook the bacon.

My thoughts exactly. I always put miracle whip on BLTs but use mayo on any other kind of sandwich.

blue plate is the only acceptable mayo.

I will return to blue plate when they start making a version that isn't all soybean oil.

If they made an avocado or olive oil mayo that wasn't soy, I'd happily pay the premium for theirs versus the other avocado mayo.

Also... A little everything bagel seasoning on a tomato sandwich is life altering.

Toasted Bread or not? Also, doesn't bother me what yall say, Duke's Mayo reigns supreme right now. Blue Plate isn't good.

I do not do Tomatoes on a sandwich. Make it with an egg and I’m down. BLE is my game.

Used to think this was an awful idea, until I tried it several years ago. Now, I wont have one without it

I am the only one in the family who like tomato, so we use cucumber on the BLT making a BLC. Really enjoy both.

That would work as well.

But you can’t leave out the over easy egg.

No it doesn't. It makes it a dressed chicken sandwich, add avo and bacon. You've never seen a Chicken BLTA on any menu ever.

One of the new additions to the sandwich menu at Max & Erma’s is the Grilled Chicken BLTA ($8.99 with a side of fries). This sandwich contains a whole grilled chicken breast topped with bacon, lettuce, tomato, onion and avocado strips, some sort of mayo-based sauce, and served on a rye bun. The chicken was well prepared, bacon was crispy, avocado was slightly dark in spots, and all of the rest of the toppings were fresh.
