re: Question for OT Parents

Your life becomes about them from day one. It is great, but your life is now about them.
One of my good buddies ended up marrying his younger brother's high school girlfriend. His dad was making the traditional toast at the rehearsal dinner and says something along the lines of "well the bride has had all the boys in the family but me.." Father of the bride was not amused.
Almost same thing as me. Skiing w my son. He was in a spot that he could not get up, so I skied over to help and got him up but got myself off balance. Skiis went up and right ski stuck in the snow mid air. I came down, ski stayed up, knee went all the way over. Thought about surgery, but decided on rehab and no more ski. Still hurts and that was almost four years ago. LCL is better than ACL though.
We shall see, but Riz could get Ozzy and Devens and Cerie's votes. Along with whomever is left in the game that does not make final 3. He could easily win. And of those left, I think he should. He had the second hardest path to the end (other newcomer who won last season).
My wife (no pic) uses snapmaps with my two older girls and will likely do the same for my son once he starts moving around on his own.
We have two:

Half Aussie/Half King Charles: Oldest daughter put us on the waitlist at the start of covid and 18 months later, we flew to St Paul to get her. Sweetest dog ever. Not for hunting, but fast, smart, trained well etc

Bahamian Potcake: Vacationing in Abaco, Bahamas over christmas two years ago. Weather was terrible, so not much for kids to do. Ran into a family that was fostering these puppies. 16 found on the street. She is beautiful and sweet, but has food aggression we are working very unsuccessfully on.
Four of the five in my immediate family are #pureblood. My oldest daughter had to take one shot to get into the nursing school. She has had autoimmune issues, severe weight loss (no pic, but did not need), and had to be put on a heart monitor since. She loves her job but not the jab she had to get to have it.
I am the only one in the family who like tomato, so we use cucumber on the BLT making a BLC. Really enjoy both.
I played in a league in ATL for about four years. It was alot of fun. Our team was half in it for the night out but we were all good at darts. I was probably the worst on our team, but still helped us win several times. Then, my best buddy on the team moved out of state and I have not played really again since. I loved it though.
I asked the board a similar question back in the fall. We ended up at:

Bottega Cafe for lunch (highly recommend)
Dyron's for dinner (highly recommend)

You should get reservations if possible.
Not a big Christian fan, but he did volunteer to go to EI AND he lost a challenge suited for him. He would have gladly pranced into camp and thrown an extra vote on Ozzy if he did not panic and fail.
"I may not look like much, but I've been drinking milk"
Meiomi is my least favorite Pinot. It is much heavier than most Pinot and because it is a blend of Pinot grapes can vary. I do not think it even drinks like a Pinot. BUT I know alot of folks who love it. I would go to a wine store and ask what they recommend in that range.

My best friend and college roommate took his life unexpectedly 3 weeks ago. I am over 50 and have been crying while alone a good bit. Funeral/CofL is next weekend. I imagine a good bit of tears from my group of friends. F*** mental illness.
When at a restaurant: "I am going to do the chicken and to drink, I will do a glass of Chardonnay."
My dad is retired and 78 himself. He volunteers at the hospital 3-4 days a week and pushes folks in wheelchairs on walks around the grounds to get them outside. He loves it but he would talk to a tree if he thought it was listening.
If you have not, pay attention to how awesome Rick Danko is throughout. RIP
Dimino is a great guy. Our kids played sports together and I have traveled with him several times. Totally chill, funny AF, and cool. He knows more about baseball than anyone I have ever met.
