I’ll be here for the rest of the week and we were looking for places to go one night. I’ve seen a lot about luna’s but it’s mainly advertising. Thanks in advance

(I wasn’t sure whether to post on this board or the travel board so direct me elsewhere if I’m wrong)

Fishers was my favorite but closed last year sadly

Cosmo’s is another option. Too bad Maggie’s isn’t still open next door. They always had a great beer selection

Take a little ride down to fort Morgan…Jesse’s on the bay is fantastic. It’s not strictly seafood. Steaks are great too. Went here last year for the first time. Now I won’t miss it anytime I’m down there.

Just haven't frequented the area enough to give you a "best" (that whole area of the Gulf is spectacular though), but have had stuffed flounder at Original Oyster House and it was great. One of my favorite dishes that we don't cook at home.

I would second Cobalt. Fishers was better though, imo.

Eta: I forgot about Zeke's. That may actually be the best. I had a whole fish there a few months back that was delicious.

Cobalt has always been enjoyable.
We’ve enjoyed the mahi mahi tacos at the Gulf.
It’s not seafood but the steaks are delicious at Big Mikes in OB on Canal rd.

Ate at Zeke's last summer. It was nice. Sat on the outside deck

Carver's in Orange Beach, although a steak house, has always had great seafood.

Hub Stacey's at the Point in Perdido has been a good spot also, but more sandwiches and pub food.

ETA: Avoid GT's on the Bay. That meal was pure crap.

Pretty much agree. Good for people watching. Food is just not that good. CoastAl is a similar setup with better food imo. I've had good meals there and Voyagers the last couple of days.

It almost doesn't even matter if it is overrated or not - it's one of the only good options and everyone knows. Going there without a reservation and any group over 2 people is a painful experience.

That entire area needs better dining out choices that don't suck

Another vote for Jesse's.

Second Cosmo’s

Not seafood but we love Big Mike’s.

Ate at Cobalt last Sunday. Was fine by me.

Funny thing was one of the specials came with Jambalaya rice.

So we had to ask what is jambalaya rice?

Waiter said it’s got andouille and tomatoes in a rice dish.

So it’s jambalaya
