where i usually go: parkway, parasol's, guy's, domilise's

eta: if you want roast beef (overrated imo) go to parkway, anything else, go to one of the others

Ive had several people tell me they have stood in line for what was supposed to be the best poboy in NO and Fat Daddies in Plaquemine might have a better poboy than all of them. True story.

The local restaurants in small towns within 50 miles of Nola are just as good as any restaurant in Nola. No reason to go there and get mugged

Throw in Mahony's and this post hit the nail on the head. Parkway agreed is my favorite. Their Surf N Turf is my favorite po boy of all time.
