If you want a roast beef and a gumbo, Frankie and Johnny's does a combo for like $11 and both items are pretty great

I've never cared for roast beef or debris poboys, so for me, you cant go wrong with Guy's, Domilise's, or Parasol's

I had it at Mahoneys and remembered that when Oak Point in Denham started carrying it. I never lived in nola.

Local no tourist joints include: Frady’s, Adams Street, Sammy’s. All very good. In Jefferson I go to Short Stop.
