What are the best chains for fast coffee? These should be places you can reasonably find across the States.

For example:

Starbucks
Dunkin’
Caribou
Panera Bread
Tim Horton’s
McDonalds
Krispy Kreme
Einstein Bagels

McDonald's has pretty good coffee, even coffee snobs tend to agree on this.

Timmy Ho's and Dunkin are good.

Racetrack is pretty damn good too as other have said.

Starbucks is one of the worst, but if you like that burnt flavor I guess it's fine.

Burnt gas station coffee. Everything else is for women and children.

It’s expanding quickly, so I’ll add Dutch Bros

Race Trac blows them all away. Seriously. The beans are ground at the moment you prepare your coffee.

Love Dutch Bros, but my complaint is that basically everything on their menu is a milkshake.

They hide the espresso behind all the milk and flavorings.

Starbucks blonde roast > Dunkin' Dark >>>>> McDonalds > CFA/Gas Station

But those little coffee hut one offs you can find around most big metros are my preference. Too many good roasters around and those things are the perfect use of them.

That's my go-to when I've got a gift card to burn or something. Their "normal" brewed coffee tastes like shite.

As far as other places go, RaceTrack and Mickey Ds are pretty solid options. Tim Hortons was a pretty good place back when I lived in Toronto. Between them and Dunkin, it seemed like they had 5 stores on every block.

Probably not the answer you’re looking for, but I’m always an advocate for home Nespresso machines. They make fantastic coffee.

I loved Sonic's Red Dot coffee. It was the best. They moved to the Green Mountain keurig style a few years back and it's just not the same.
