Billy's, there's been a lot of gristle
I agree! I have been saying that for about a year now. The flavor is still bomb but it seems like every single link has a big piece of gristle that I have to spit out.

Not sure that I’ve ever had any. I was hoping that the Cajun Cleaver would get some good reviews.

He’s got good stuff, but it’s kind of a pain to make it to the Farmer’s market to pick it up.
You can put orders in through Facebook and he'll meet you at Rouses on Thursdays. That's how I get mine.

Meh, it's alright. Probably just Richard's or similar.

Not even close.

Went to Billy's the other day for the first time. I just always went to Best Stop when in Scott. I can unequivocally say:
1. Best Stop
2. Kartchner's
3. Billeaud's
4. Billy's

So jealous of you guys. I can't buy anything that even passes for decent boudin or andoullie anywhere even near here. Thankfully both are pretty easy to make but it must be nice to have options.

well since I now live in a place where boudin isnt a thing, the best around here is the kind i make
This, in South Bend, IN. There actually is a good truck roaming around here that makes cajun food that makes it too. It's actually serviceable, but not what you can find back home.

The Donald Link recipe I found in this forum is better than anything I can buy in south MS. Hell its even better than what I could buy in Houma. I toned down the salt and put less rice/liquid.

Can someone link the Donald Link Recipe? The search function is not pulling up anything.
