I’ll be in the area this weekend. Help me choose from Bayou Oaks North Course, Bartholomew, and Audubon.

I walked Eagle Ridge today. I didn’t think it was bad, I walked just over 5 miles. The greens were fast.

Has anyone played Eagle Ridge lately? Is it a good walking course?

Knockdown Shot

Posted by RaginCajun87 on 12/24/20 at 4:18 pm
How many of you use this shot as your normal iron shot when playing? I have a hard time finding the bottom of my swing and making consistent contact when using my irons. Using the the knockdown shot promotes more consistent contact and gives me a higher chance of getting the ball in the air and closer to the green. Maybe with time the knockdown will help me get to more of a full “normal” swing but for now this gives me the best chance to play more consistent golf.

Yeah I think I’m going to do individual pieces instead of a whole chicken next time.

Smoked Chicken in Gumbo

What’s your go to methods? Last time I did a gumbo I smoked a whole chicken the night before and let it cool off before putting it in the refrigerator overnight. Next morning I deboned an cooked my gumbo. I added the chicken for the last hour to two hours approximately. While the flavor was good the chicken was dry. Did I screw up smoking the chicken the night before?

Hopefully it doesn’t come down to Pennsylvania. Would he have to flip a blue state to nullify PA?
