Best Boudin In Your Town Thread

For markets or restaurants. Post your town’s options.
In the Monroe area, options are limited. But, Randall’s boudin out of his freezer section is legit. It is damn good.
And Cormier’s has improved their boudin significantly. It’s good now.
That’s about all we have here for good boudin.

St. George is a Boudin Desert.

Posting in hopes someone proves me wrong. But I live in Birmingham and there isn’t any good boudin to be found despite the number of Louisiana folks that have moved here of late. Some people like the Cajun Cleaver’s out in Hoover but I’ve been less than impressed. Another place that sells at the Farmer’s Market but it makes me sad.

New Orleans area and really southern Louisiana is Boudin by Jamison hands down. He's gone to the big Lafayette boudin competition the last couple of years and won people's choice back to back. It's good stuff!

For Lafayette, the best boudin is from Johnson's Boucaniere.
ETA: I haven't tried Bourque's yet, but Johnson's is good stuff.

Clarification. I don't think it's frozen.
And there is a little shop in Ball Ground, Georgia that makes its own boudin.
It was good to me. But I'm no judge. I've never had it from any of the places that are mentioned on this site.

Bergeron’s
They also have stuffed chickens and cracklings. Or as I call it, meat candy.

Overnight shipping is your friend. Explore some.
I just figured this thread was needed as a good boudin locator.

Agree, however I’m pretty sure they use minute rice (at least that’s the texture I’m getting from it). Would go up a few points with better rice. I love Cormier’s as well, although it’s not a traditional boudin. More-so the pig sandwich meat ground up and stuffed with rice.

We literally have nothing in Natchitoches right now but that's about to change on Saturday when Ranch House Specialty Meats opens and starts serving up some Eunice Superette boudin.

He’s got good stuff, but it’s kind of a pain to make it to the Farmer’s market to pick it up. I usually end up with Chris’ and occasionally Cochon.

I live in Scott, so I'll let y'all fight about that.

Sold in Dallas:
In Dallas: my freezer full of Billy's, though I think my preference is changing to Don's. Last few times I've gone to Billy's, there's been a lot of gristle.
