Best Alligator dish in Lafayette

Friends are coming into town and they are obsessed with trying alligator for the first time. Which would be the dish to turn them on to?

Bon Temps used to have "alligator wings" that were awesome. Not sure if they still have them, but if so, then I would highly recommend.

Don's has Blackened Alligator.
Fezzos has Fried Alligator Bites.
Drago's has alligator, I think.
(I never had any so I don't know how good they are).

Out of everything listed so far, probably would take them to Don's. Bon Temps lathers theirs in that bang bang sauce, could possibly ask them to serve them with sauce on the side.
Walk-Ons has an alligator app too, but I don't think I'd take out of town friends there.

Alligator isn’t that highly desired of a dish in South Louisiana because anyone who has ever skinned and cleaned one would never eat it. They are nasty and vile reptiles that eat anything and everything. Putrid smells and chewy meats unless prepared properly.

And that adds to the exotic nature and desirability of it.
Me personally, it doesn't have much flavor. I don't ever crave alligator, causing me to make dining out decisions based on that.
Someone in our group always order the alligator app, I eat, dip it in the sauce, and move on.

The gator served in restaurants likely comes from a farm where it ate good clean foods, not road kill nutria and hapless golden retrievers.
