Apparently she thought that my feelings were fake and after so many years of hating children, this 2 month old infant would be the one that changes my mind?
Idk, am I the a-hole here? Should I have sucked it up just because it's my nephew?
Not having read anything past the OP, I am inclined to believe at first introduction that you may possibly have a personality disorder of some type. The fact that you didn't just suck it up and hold the child and instead shunned said child gives me great pause. I hope for your family's sake I am mistaken and you are just an a-hole in general.

My sister in law did that crap to me. I don't really care to hold babies until their head stops flopping around all weird. It's not that I think their disgusting, it's that I'm scared of hurting them.

You have clearly made it known to those around you that you have an autistically intense aversion to infants of all kinds. Therefore, it was grossly irresponsible of your sister to shove your parents first grandchild, your siblings first child, and your very own first nephew in your face like that.
