If you were on this jury, would you "sneak a peek" at the media coverage or speak with your significant other about it?

Is it even POSSIBLE to go home and watch ANYTHING without "accidentally" coming across news about it?

(My understanding is they are not sequestered)

If it weren’t for TD I would have had no idea the case was ongoing.

It’s pretty easy to avoid if you have any life whatsoever.

I'd do my best not to do that both the prosecution and defense get the fairest shake they can.

Realistically, with the kind of coverage this trial got, it would be almost impossible to avoid.

Honestly, the media is saying that reasonable doubt has clearly been established in this case and are blaming the judge more than anything else. They’re still calling Rittenhouse a shithead, but there’s going to be riots no matter what the verdict is. The Woke will burn the country if he’s pronounced Not Guilty, a Hung Jury, or Mistrial by Prejudice and people on the Right will riot if Kyle is convicted.

It’s going to get bad. This isn’t the People vs Kyle Rittenhouse. It’s the People vs the 2nd Amendment. It’s a trial against America at large. We will burn.

Turn off the tv.
Read a book, find a hobby besides watching cable news. It's really not that difficult.

I feel like I live under a rock, haven’t seen a thing on it.

I choose not to live in the bullshite world of social media. I mean major news networks.

I don’t binge national news shows so this is really the only place I see his name.

I don’t think it’s that interesting of a case or nearly as symbolic as a lot of you do so I’m not seeking it out and bored by it when it pops up. Thought a thread about the jurors might have a surprise but not so much.

I wonder if the police, and National guard, are told to stand down for the riots, or if they are going to do their job this time.

If you have ten people wilding and one gets their head turned into a canoe, 9 want to go home peacefully.

Short of being on this board, I’ve seen or heard nothing about the trial. So yea, it’s very possible.

ive seen exactly zilch about this trial other than seeing the thread keep popping up on the OT.

I did have one customer last Thursday or Friday casually say ‘yeah I been following that kyle trial, crazy huh?’… other than that I’ve not heard a single thing about this from anyone.

It’s someone’s life in your hands you couldn’t follow simple instructions? I hope you are not a parent, pilot or a carnival ride operator.

Plenty of streaming options with no news coverage at all.

ignore the “turn the tv off” / “i wouldn’t even know about it if not for TD” losers. Common deflection tactic by the OT Leftist. Notice which posters are saying it. At this point, not to get your daily dose of political bias, you would:

turn off national news
turn off local news
turn off most streaming services
turn off sports
log off social media
log off the internet
