re: Rate My BOB

Congrats! You’ve got about 4.5 hours of mosquito protection.
Placed $1,000 deposit via credit card. They mailed me contracts to sign. A month later when it was convenient took a $90 flight Friday from Tampa to Atlanta. Sales rep picked me up and drove me to the dealership, I gave him my signed copies of contracts, he returned with my copies (never saw finance manager), and I drove back with the truck. Smooth as butter.

Finance manager called me Monday saying I had to return the truck, my down payment was against owners policy, I told him the 25k debit card transaction had been not pending but posted and I ain’t bringing chit 600 miles back to you. Finance Manager threatened to not turn my contract in and cancel it. I told him to kick rocks.

I did pay about $7,500 under MSRP in March for a ‘22 truck lol. Got a free yeti cooler too from GM when he called me for a review.

I’m happy.
Losing my job and becoming financially ruined. I’ve always been above average at my job and don’t squander my money. I’d be a hell of a lot wealthier if I didn’t live in fear and took a modestly calculated risk investing.

It’s fking stupid and the reason I haven’t bought a house, I’m afraid I’ll be locked into something I can’t afford one day.

I grew up in the upper class too. I’m dumb
I put about 30k miles per year on a truck. At twice the mpg it pays off. Especially since I idle about 2 hrs a day.
Why not get a 3.0 liter turbo charged diesel 1500?

I average 28 mpg, ride is great and can tow 12,000lbs.
If anything I’d be way more concerned about the new company not letting you wrap up loose ends. I’m not a stellar employee, but I’d never leave a good employer with problems.

That tells me they don’t care about you or employees very much.
Ehhh pretty good, but her nipples are too small for her boob size.
I just paid $3,500 u see MSRP for a 2022 truck, but I feel like new MSRP’s have been hiked. Either way I paid way more than I would’ve 2 years ago.
I used to work in logging and we paid crews based on production. We adjusted logging rates quarterly based on fuel prices.

Now I work in outside sales (commission only) and drive about 30-35k per year. If fuel prices double or more this year I’ll defiantly feel it, but I already know my employer would tell me sell more to make up for it.
Sad part is I don’t think you actually meant it
Her lack of neck shows how big she really is in person
People “smacking” gum…literally hurts my ears.
Florida is getting pretty bad. Bay Area has had huge spikes in flood insurance. Insurance companies are even calling my customers with roofs from 05 and asbestos siding and telling them to get rid and replace it by April or they’re getting dropped.

May not seem too big of a deal to some people, but it is for the guy who makes 40k a year and bought his house in 2001 for 135k and a comparable cost around 400k now.
Home Depot is expensive and subs out work to whomever will do it cheapest. If anything needs follow up attention it’ll take them 6 months to get the contractor back out there, if they even can.

Call Window World. There’s going to be a decent lead time, but they’ll give you the most value for your dollar.
How so?
NW corner -Shreveport- Byrd high school
NE corner -Monroe -Nevelle High
SE corner - Denham- Denham High
SW corner - Lake Charles - Barbe

That’s all 4 corners….

In 2016 all had starter homes under 200k (some still do) and have a good school available….

It’s funny how short term societies memory has become. In 2016, 200k could put you in a great 3/2 1500 sqft starter house in a good school district with a .25 -1acre lot in every corner of Louisiana.
Mostly a super pissed off toddler screaming. The lab occasionally going crazy over any one coming home or delivery person.

Sounds like you’re really enjoying life at a job you enjoy.

Doesn’t get any better than that.

Grass has not always been greener in my experiences.
Break up with her. She’s financially irresponsible and doesn’t stick to commitments or holding up her end of the deal.

You asked for any advice
Ehhhh not that hot..from the looks of her pic she’s poor and messy….hard pass.
