Pew Pew Pew. Man found shot, killed in bar parking lot overnight (Sherwood & Coursey)

Most likely, this happened outside of Quarters. Sure would be nice if SuperFresh still existed in that area instead of a bar.

That crowd in that area at night is pretty rough. It was only a matter of time that there would be a shooting. Won't be the last either.

Next door app was all over this. Hood rats everywhere killing our city, state, country- ruining our entire culture- destroying our quality of life- destroying our schools- creating no go zones in what we’re our best areas a generation ago etc.

The NBR cancer is taking over Sherwood and Coursey. I remember the area used to be very decent.

Coursey and Sherwood isn't bad during the day. I've never once felt unsafe in that area during business hours. After hours - and especially weekend nights - all bets are off and if you're in that area, you're accepting the risk of whatever Quarters and Boil & Roux stir up that night.

What is sad is that Coursey/Sherwood doesn't have to turn into a shithole, but Murphy Paul and Broome have zero desire to do anything to control the chaos, and the street cops have no incentive or backing to do the work themselves.
