Vick, no slight to Lamar but imagine Vick in a modern day offense

Lamar.

He's both a better runner and passer than Vick.

Prime Vick today would make Jackson look like a flat footed pocket passer

I can't even imagine what Vick would have done in both college and the NFL in a modern offense. He took VT to the national championship game running I Form play action and ran the same thing in Atlanta

I'm not high on Lamar at all, but Lamar is miles better than Vick ever dreamed of. It's not even close.

Jackson easily. Lamar is a top 5 qb who has won an MVP before he turned 24.

Michael Vick only had one season with over a 90 QB rating and only one season that he played a full 16 games. Lamar's career QB Rating is over 102.

Put Vick in these modern offenses with flag football rules and he’d be pretty much unstoppable.

this thread is INSANELY overrating michael vick which is odd because when he was playing, he got trashed constantly. this is classic rose colored glasses on a player from the past.

look, i loved michael vick, but he was incredibly inaccurate. the pure talent is insane, but so is lamar's, no? projecting how he would do in today's NFL is silly, but it's the only possible way you could pick him over lamar. there is zero evidence that he's actually better without having to resort to something like that.

do you also get zero off field issues somehow? so just a completely made-up person?

You mean IRL Vick or hypothetical Vick without all the baggage?

Everyone is acting like Vick played in some long forgotten era. 2001-2015. He came into the league with Tom Brady and drew brees. Y’all are basically arguing Andruw Jones vs trout and saying that Andruw is better, if he played with juiced balls, and worked on his strike zone, and hustled after his big contract. That may be true, but that’s simply not a guy who ever existed

Prime Vick never had any interest in working on his game. Jackson all day.

So many on this board have been rooting against Lamar Jackson since Day 1. He’d have to win three Super Bowls before they’d recognize he’s a pretty good QB.

Vick was ahead of his time and I’m sure inspired many of the current gen QBs. He’s be fun to watch in more modern offenses
