Yes. I wish my oldest was old enough to apply for jobs right now. She could get any teen job she wanted.

Questions:

Interesting to see a plan come together that increases wages without the government mandating an increase?

Or, the government mandated something else that resulted in increased wages?

Other than prices of goods and services, what also increases when wages increase?

Was in DG a week ago and they had signs on just about every aisle, sometimes both ends of aisles, both sides of front door too.

True, but when the reason for the signs is because people are being supported by the government instead of finding a job, that's concerning about the future of this country.

This is what happens when the government hands out free money, people don’t get out of bed.

I saw an article on CNN yesterday saying that the reason restaurants are understaffed is because the wages are too low for workers to return to a toxic work environment.

They're half right for the wrong reason

Democrats are smarter than yall think.

They wanted a national $15/her minimum wage and knew they couldn't get it passed through a vote so they paid low income earners to stay home and now it'll cost much more that $15/hr to get them off their couches and back to work.

And they don't care if small mom and pop businesses go out of business, collateral damage, besides they feel that new businesses will take their place eventually. They're probably right about that but it sucks for the ones that will get thrown to the wolves to make their point.

Well at least that lets a person know where they can go to get away from left wingers. They'll avoid those places like the plague

That's the thing the right often misses.

Leftist ideas are dangerous and damaging to the country, but democrats are much better politicians and play the game on a different level.
