I doubt he's made an actual point the entire time. He usually offers nothing but kindergarten level insults.

What percentage of the workforce is making minimum wage?

Neither you or I have that number but the question in play here is how many of the unstaffed jobs are minimum wage. I would surmise that most of the jobs in this debate are at or near minimum wage. Also in play here is that these jobs are likely not full time 40 hr/wk jobs. So now what was your point?

more anecdotal shite, i was driving back from San Antonio yesterday and stopped to get a water and use the bathroom in Buda, TX. Gas Station with a 24/7 sign was locked up with a handmade sign that said "Closed from 2-6 due to staff shortages."

i've never see anything like that.

Mize said, "There’s plenty of jobs out there right now" and speculates some people may be choosing to stay on unemployment.

Fred McCormick, a general manager at a local Arby’s location, agreed.

"They don’t have to worry about COVID," McCormick told the outlet. "I mean, we do all the process that we were supposed to do. We take care of our customers and our employees."

Same.

Drove to TX last night from Lafayette. Stopped at a gas station in LA, at Bucees in Baytown, and another gas station this morning to grab a Red Bull. Every single place had a “we’re hiring” sign.

Right- bc if you don’t work you get benefits like Medicaid, Food Stamps, Section 8, and right now a higher unemployment payment.

Which those people might still qualify for those at $10/hour - but why work?

Exactly. That's why nobody wants them.

I wish better jobs were urgently hiring.
