I'm guessing Krispy Krunchy isn't an actual national chain, but it's a chain and pretty damn tasty for being a gas station eatery. In fact, when fresh (not under the heating lamp for three hours), those are my favorite chicken tenders.
And as others have mentioned:

Whataburger
Just a few short years ago I would have listed Hooter's because yes, loved their wings. But the last three times I've patronized the place (Odessa, Houston and Stafford), the wings were puny and they mostly skimped on the delicious sauce.

The Hillstone Group is the best run and has excellent food. Parent company of Houston's and many others.

I actually really like the food at Texas Roadhouse. Its our goto for dinner out with the kids and their freinds.

I always see Texas Roadhouse talked about here as being good. I haven’t been since I was a kid and it makes me want to go visit.
The BR locations had this issue as well, but it was corrected sometime in the past year. As mentioned, though, Hooters of Louisiana is its own thing so may not have any bearing on your locations.

You need to take a long hard look in the mirror and reevaluate everything in your life. If this is your opinion on a place like Waffle House I'd imagine there's plenty else that needs to be overhauled.

I've seen two Jersey Mike's listed in this thread.
While JM is good, they are WAY overpriced.
Firehouse Subs beats them hands down.

Better than Roadhouse and Outback too.
The two times I tried Longhorn just made me sad. Two of the blandest, thinnest, chewiest steaks I have ever had.
Saltgrass is the tits. Even their sides are money.
