Certain aged people ought to wear masks every flu season going forward and you would have a lot less sick kids if they wore masks during peak flu time

If scientist put the two together, would they really fight each other? If so, my money would go on the flu just because it would likely be a huge underdog and if the flu won it would be a huge payout.
