re: Question for who gets Lane
Posted by tigerwith3 on 11/12/25 at 8:57 am to louisianamotocross
When a coach leaves a program isn’t there a week or two where those players can transfer out? This would be outside the normal transfer window. I would assume a bunch of players would follow Lane wherever he goes.

Philly, I’m going to need you to be full of shite because I just promised the board this afternoon that if Saban comes back, I’m posting nudes of my wife. That can’t happen
Is she hot?
re: With NIL and profit sharing the coaches who would have jumped ship

First of all, LSU and Florida are more national brands than ole miss and it’s much easier to recruit at those schools than ole miss.
Second, LSU and Florida both have bigger stadiums and better facilities along with an easier path to recruit in-state talent.
Ole miss may not be at the disadvantage that it always has been in, but it’s much easier to recruit and win at a high level at LSU/Florida.

Well thn he’s an idiot because ole miss is a runt program and always will be with your high school facilities.

They’ve been mediocre more years than they’ve been good in the last 20 years. Don’t get your feelings hurt with the truth.
Why it’s got to be Kiffin

He’s the best coach in the nation and it’s not really close. He’s an offensive genius, he has bought into NIL and knows how to maximize that process.
If LSU doesn’t get him to Baton Rouge, they’ll remain a mediocre team for years to come.

They have a glorified high school stadium. There are some high schools in Texas that would fill up that runt stadium.
re: How many people would be mad if it was Jeff Brohm?

He’s my #2 behind kiffin. I think he’s develops QB’s and is a very good on the field coach.
re: If Kiffin was staying with Ole Miss don't you think they would have worked out
Posted by tigerwith3 on 11/7/25 at 2:45 pm to nicholastiger
Ole Miss has always been a runt program and they will always be a runt. They play in front of 60k fans and their facilities are behind the bigger programs. Thy will make the playoffs, but will never win a NC.
He may stay at Ole Miss, but he’ll never recruit studs out of high school that these bigger programs bring in every year. They will have to depend on spending g $15 million in the portal every year. Unless rules change, they won’t keep that up for very long.

I don’t know, but he won’t be re-elected if LSU makes a crappy hire. He torpedoed this search from day one.

I guess someone didn’t watch the Tulane game this week or watch the last 4 years of Billy Napier.
Sumrall has Napier written all over him.

Dude, fricking love all of your post. Please keep it up. I’m depressed all day reading crap on this board then I read one of your post and I’m high as a kite fired up.

His record without Pavia is brutal. Hallman/Favre all over again. No thanks!
re: Jeff Landry knows he can’t screw up this coaching search, he will lose reelection
Posted by tigerwith3 on 10/31/25 at 8:48 am to BMTiger
If LSU doesn’t get a homerun hire, I blame him. No chance I’d ever vote for a politician that fricks over LSU sports.
re: So who pays for Scott Woodward's $6.47m?

I thought he quit? You don’t get a buyout when you quit.
re: If Lane Kiffin would have coached this year's LSU team ...
Posted by tigerwith3 on 10/30/25 at 12:14 pm to TIGERSby10
Nuss would have not been the quarterback so I say yes.
Offensive line play is bad, but a good coach schemes around that.

He’s Napier 2.0. A guy that succeeded at smaller schools, but has no experience with the level of expectations at LSU.
He would be overwhelmed, just like Napier was with no clue how to fix it.

re: Will you be happy or pissed when we beat Bama?

Happy of course, but would get sick and tired of hearing the race baiters scream and holler about making Wilson the full time HC
re: If Scott Woodward isn't doing the search who and what are they doing today on coach search
Posted by tigerwith3 on 10/30/25 at 9:53 am to thelawnwranglers
That’s my main concern right now. Woodward has been neutered so he’s not doing shite right now towards the coaching search. So who the frick is vetting coaches and making offers/talking to agents.
Completely dysfunctional and top tier guys are going to think twice. It’s hard enough to hire a quality coach. Now these fricktards made it more difficult.
