Thank you.

I thought you weren’t a democrat.

I very much think that any republican voters that may have wanted to jump ship after the protests Wednesday are now back on board. Maybe even more TBH

I think the issue that arises is that are Twittwr and Facebook digital public squares where freedom of speech applies? I know they are private entities, but they have morphed into a public speaking venue whether they like it or not.
I didn't vote for Trump and I think he is a moron. I also think social media is horrible because it allows radical, nonsensical views to coalesce ala Qanon and Antifa. However, I think there needs to be discussion about social media and free speech.

They’re shell shocked that they voted for this probably, although they will never admit it
They are toasting each other with soy lattes from starbucks, posting happy memes on iphones onto totalitarian social media networks.
They are as happy as cucks with new video games provided by their gf's bull.

A rare honest leftist.
I respect Lincoln1 much more than people like the NeverTrumper Republicans.

What specifically do you want to discuss about censorship?
Posted on 1/8/21 at 7:26 pm to inelishaitrust
What did he do to incite violent you fricking retard? Oh my god you people are so fricking stupid and delusional

protest at the Capital Building was a violent insurrection
this is a hyperbolic and inaccurate description if there ever was one

Not a serious D here, but in this crowd I’m certainly considered it
I’ll say I think banning trump over tweeting he won’t attend the inauguration is too much for my liking.
I’ll say that forcing standards of not organizing violence on the platforms doesn’t bother me.

I'll play since I just returned from my latest ban from Tigerdroppings.
When I post on this or any other social media, website or forum, I agree to play by the rules that the owner of said social media, website or forum has laid out. When I violate said rules, or they decide they no longer want me to post on their site. They get to ban, suspend or expel me. They are private entities and they get to do whatever they want within the borders of their online playground.
You don't have to like it, but them suspending me in no way censors me or takes away my freedom of speech.
I simply don't get to exercise it within the borders of the online site that has suspended me.
If you or I don't like it...we are free to start our own website/forum/app and run it how we see fit.

That’s a thought. Care to expound on it?

Twitter is a private business and has the right to refuse service.
But it's not... It's how they haven't been liable for things posted on there.

I’d really like to hear some worthy discussion on this question

Again this isn't true in the platform v publisher argument that's protected them for 12 years.

Do you think it’s acceptable for what is happening with not only Trump, but several others?

Read the articles of impeachment when they drop Monday.

Oh it will be just like last time: they all came back here and admitted they were duped by O-care and it will happen again. fricking idiots.

It’s terrible, because they will use it on the populous left also.
They hate populism period because they hate working class organizing so I’m against censorship.
Wait till unions start organizing again
