Right, because the world is built for short people.

6'1 here

i guess anything belows 5'5 i would consider short. I judge physical fitness more. ive seen some short arse dudes that were built brick house wide that i would not want to F with if not needed.

Overall, average is just a shade below 5'9" , but that's nationwide and across all ethnic groups. So those asians and mexicans bring it down some.

The average white American male is 5’10” so they’re hardly bringing it down. I guarantee you a lot of guys that are an inch or two away from 6’0” claim they are 6’0”. The average person can’t tell the difference between 1 or 2 inches unless whatever they’re judging is right next to each other.

So you're short, Martin David.

You're short on sense too, you gd mf'ing LucasP killah.

Post this query on the Aggie Board (redundant?), I'm sure they spend a lot of time worrying about such things.

My family always got in a tizzy over height. My mom (who claims to like tall men) married my dad who was 5’8”

However my dad’s dad was 6’6” (my mom didn’t know my grandpa - he has long been dead)

My husband is 5’8” and our oldest son is 5’10” but hasn’t hit his growth spurt yet

I'm pretty tall but I've always dated women that were average height or less. I don't know why. I don't know if it's necessarily a preference but that's just the way it worked out I guess. I had one girlfriend that was 5'7" but the rest have all been 5'5" or under.

Given I was blessed with tall genes, I'm 6'4", I consider anyone 6'0" and under to be midgets.

My brother too. He’s 6’3” - his old girlfriends were shorter than me, his ex wife is taller

Not sure if he had a ‘type’ - like my mom who says she likes ‘tall men’

Same here. My daughter is 5'10" and my 13 year old is 5'8". But I say anything under 5'10" is = short for a guy. Under 5'7" and I don't even consider that person a man.

Tallest man I ever knew was 5’6”. Put himself through college working offshore. Became a Christian and dang near converted the whole frat. Defended his younger brother by not turning the other cheek. Would have turned the other cheek if he was messed with. Most responsible and faithful family man I ever saw.

I am 5'-7" plus, almost 5'-8", and never felt overly short until I moved to Texas 14 yrs ago. Almost every friend I have, or just guys I know in general around here, are 6' or taller...except for the latinos who work for us.

If you're over 6'2" and NOT a professional athlete then you're a failure at life. At that height or higher, the path to professional sports is basically easy mode.
