Students from the 1880's /90's created this & now all Texas students must be stuck with it in perpetuity? What makes the class of 1890 the lone arbiters of what's worthy of University tradition?
Todays students should be able to have a say in UT traditions just as those in the past.

So if alums from 1940s, 50s, 60s, 70s,80s,90s,00s,10s all like the song, it seems that should outweigh the current students right?
