No, we don't. Sounds like you're bragging about having shady associates.

If it doesn't affect me, I don't really care.

It doesn't sound like they are doing anything illegal. Rather, they are simply taking advantage of favorable circumstances by the ridiculous response of the nation/government to this whole thing.

While the decision may be short-sighted in that a job may not be waiting for him after unemployment ceases, it sounds like he taking advantage of a windfall he didn't create. Don't like the decision? Blame the government who made unemployment payments so great it incentivized not working.

I’m not a wartime profiteer, but I don’t have issue with those that are such.

I don't see the issue with this. I want my mortgage paid off asap but if I had other debt it would be smart. Not like he's still from the mortgage company. They're getting theirs plus.

Pretty sure there are very limited circumstances where you can quit and receive unemployment benefits. Sounds like bullshite.

This is truly a zig or zag moment in history. If you decide to zig when you should’ve zagged you’re screwed. Each situation is different and each family is different. A

shite I want to do that. How does one make that happen? It’s not some gotcha that you have to add the months you don’t pay now to the end of the loan. Sounds like a smart way to save some money right now.

Does this guy understand that at the end of the 6 months he will owe all of the payments he has deferred at once?

I don't have any friends that would make more money with inflated unemployment than they do in their current jobs.

I'm also not aware of anyone who is taking advantage of any of these "COVID offers", but they sound like shitty people.
