I was more nervous on Monday. With that Westward shift we’ll be okay I think.

For reference, Katrina and Camille had surges measured at 24-25'.

The Mississippi gulf coast is the perfect setup for a massive storm surge. 20 feet in this part of the state is pretty much maxing out.

This trajectory is worst case scenario for storm surge , and it’s piling on top of south winds from Marco yesterday.

We already have two feet of water south of the levee system in Dulac on Four point road. anticipating about 6 overall based on prior storms. I believe the street had near 8' for Rita, but we did not have a camp at the time and there was no levee to stack up water.

Janky yes .. gotta be nearby for after to check on things at "my husbands place of employment".

My sunflowers are going to be decimated. I'm really heartbroken as stupid as that sounds. They were GORGEOUS and going to raise a good bit more money for St. Jude.

How does the Graywood area to the LC Country Club fare on flooding? Thought Graywood was higher for some reason.

Where is the closest place I am to cool weather in Austin? If I’m going to be displaced for 3 weeks, I rather be somewhere with more pleasant weather.
