That's not what he's saying. People will look for anything different than who's currently in charge, because they lose faith in the current leadership. It doesn't matter who the other option is.

I'm not saying I agree, but that is the point being made. It's not what you stated.

I bet you didn't see the first shutdown back in December either. You need to wake up to the possibility not everyone cares about the economy when they see this as a war.

I believe Trump would have an easier time beating Hillary than Biden. That woman is poison. She would be about as appealing as shite on a stick.

Fatigue is setting in with much of the populace and we have a ways to go.

Many will pull the lever for Biden in a false hope that by getting rid of Trump they will get rid of the chaos.

I’ve used Professor Lichtman’s model in my arguments that Trump would win the last election, so I can’t ignore it in this election just because it doesn’t fit my desire to re-elect Trump.
sure you can. just pretend you're a democrat and it will happen naturally

No one in their right mind thinks Joe can win.
It's all about firing up the base to win senate and house seats.

That was exactly my question. Every poll I see shows him having around 90% support within the party. I guess too much attention is given to the attention whore RINO’s like Romney who want you to think a massive chunk of the party wants him out.

Reading through the article, and they lose foreign success right here:
quote:

has had no major military or foreign policy successes
The fact that he is getting us out of wars, forcing European nations to pay more into NATO, and bringing back manufacturing jobs are all foreign successes.

Also, I have a question about this:
quote:

the fact that Republicans lost control of the House of Representatives in the 2018 midterms
Has any president maintained both the House & Senate at mid-term of their first year. My memory may be off, but I don't recall any party having control of all 3 for more than the first 2 years.

The scandals that lead to impeachment are a joke and have been proven to be manufactured. And now, it appears that some of the things that Trump was accused of (and impeached in the House over), Obama & Biden may have actually done themselves.

The coronavirus kind of throws the model through a loop and you have to consider the all out media assault.

I cant find it now but someone from Fox found an AOC tweet where she said states need to continue shutdowns and that some people losing jobs or businesses going under is worth it if it gets Trump out of office. That's the mentality whether we like it or not. I hate to say it but the arrogance on this board for a Trump victory is exactly why he is going to lose. His base doesnt seem to get we are at war for the stake of our country. If every conservative, from politicians to the common man, doesn't start fighting back Biden is going to win which will lead to the Radical Left taking away all of our freedoms.

While true, the unrest is on the Democrat side. It's like all the idiot Democrats complaining "why isn't he uniting the country". The only people pissing themselves daily are Democrats because they, personally, can't mentally handle Trump.

The choice in the next election is clear. As a nation we will either stay the course as a Free-Market Capitalist Consitutional Republic or we will veer sharply to the left and become a marxist-socialist utopia. A marxist-socialist utopia based on the model we see in Cuban and Venezuela.

Elections have consequences.

George W. Bush. Not only did Republicans gain seats in both the House and Senate in 2002 but the Senate Minority Leader lost his bid for reelection.

If Joe is POTUS, the MSM slacks up on the lies and would support him reopening.

Trump defies predictions. He has proven just about everybody wrong. If it makes you feel better to believe false polls or predictions go right ahead, but on election night don't go around crying like a little biatch.

The biggest flaw of all.

The unexpected worldwide virus. Your model is now not accommodating for it because it has never had to.
