This thread is amazing. You have been told you aren’t wanted there yet you cretins are hell bent on going and doing everything they’re asking you not to do.....I just ...it’s fascinating.

Anyone in Orange Beach now? How are a grocery stores stocked up?

Last weekend they were only letting a few people in at a time. Both times I passed there were dozens of people in line outside the Publix.

nyone in Orange Beach now? How are a grocery stores stocked up? How is traffic coming in?

The crowds in stores have picked up during the week. Went to public last night and it was packed! Lots of traffic. The median/neutral ground/ perdido beach blvd divider is a pain in the arse! Not sure of the TP situation but pack it if you have it. Meat and beer supply has been good like the weather

This whole ban on allowing Louisiana residents to rent in Florida is completely ridiculous. Louisiana has a higher rate per 100 thousand residents because Louisiana has tested almost double the amount of people per capita than the surrounding states. The more you test the more positives you find.

Not to mention it doesn’t appear to take into account all of the recoveries. One of the dumbest misinformed executive orders signed. Yes I’m mad but I’ll get over it. Booked a place in Gulf Shores.

Apologies if I missed it, but what's the alternative route to avoid the checkpoint? Heading to Walton County.

Exit 49 (Baldwin Beach Expressway) off I-10 (Buccee's Exit) and take left onto Highway 90. Will run you back to I-10 about 16 miles down the road. No issues.

Is the detour worth it versus the 5 minute stop on I-10? I leave Sunday for Miramar.

we usually do OB and haven't made it to Destin in several years. I have two little ones, so time in car is crucial.

The time difference was negligible. Worth it to avoid stopping at checkpoint, etc.

The next time Florida plays at LSU the Governor needs to screen Florida plates at the border.

Destin house rental for entire week of June 13th canceled so now looking into AL houses.

frick FL and this shitty arbitrary ruling. I’m not bringing my Tourism dollars anywhere in that state for a few years if I can help it.

If there is a Mardi Gras I hope FL residents can’t get apartments and can’t get hotels for Saints and LSU football this fall.

Any update on going through the checkpoint? Still just knock out some form real quick and be on your way?
