I believe he also participated in a run with some veterans. Hence, the shorts.
Part of it are the different radar guns used now and where are the pitch speed is “tracked” (pitcher’s release point vs when crossing the plate)

Best of luck to T-Bob. Never short on entertaining and, by all accounts, a good family man.

The Netflix sports docs have generally stunk. Hope this one is different.

Julia Letlow is remarkably unimpressive but she’s an improvement over Cassidy.

This.

But there are also other, preferable options over Letlow and Cassidy.

Also curious if Letlow could GOTV in a statewide race against any formidable opponent, party notwithstanding.
Why not just cut the tax rate for oil and leave natural gas alone? Oh yeah, it's LA.

You probably woudn’t live in Atlanta proper anyway but in one of the Northern subs.

This. SS, Marietta, Roswell, Alpharetta, and on up/west is likely where you'd be.

It's early but if Bregman can maintain this kind of production for a few more years, get his career WAR above 60 (39.6 currently), he'll be in the conversation for the HOF.

If he has 4-5 more years of All-Star caliber play (@4+ WAR), it will indeed be an interesting HOF discussion.

Not remotely similar players. Both are indeed white, though.
This card will be worth far more down the road.

2 Bills Filed to Shake Up BREC

Posted by PoBoy1 on 3/20/25 at 12:04 pm
A pair of bills filed Thursday could drastically change the way BREC operates.

Republican State Rep. Dixon McMakin of Baton Rouge filed House Bill 86 that would reduce the number of BREC commissioners, while House Bill 87, would restructure the system and move it under the city-parish government umbrella.

HB86 reduces the BREC Commission from nine members to five. Those five would be the mayors of Baker, Baton Rouge, Central, St. George and Zachary. Under the proposed bill, three members would constitute a quorum.

If the bill becomes law, the terms of the current commission members would end, though they would be allowed to remain on until the transition is made.

BREC currently operates as a subdivision of the state to plan, own and operate public recreational and park facilities in the parish. HB87 proposes to repeal the present law, allowing the system to be transferred to the city-parish government as a department.

I've heard many LA folks say this privately re: Julia Letlow. Nice lady, horrible circumstances, yet no real qualifications other than marriage. An interesting discussion to be sure.
