MSU is not a bad school and its business and accounting programs are pretty good.

MS State must have a hell of a recruiter. My child is a Junior at a suburban Birmingham high school. Told me a bunch of seniors are heading off to Starkville. Sounds like the new trendy choice for over the mountain BHAM kids, like Ole Miss was a few years ago.

Mississippi State??? Christ.

She can always get an MBA at a more prestigious school if she does well in Stinkville.

If she and the BF are still together when they graduate, she can run the backoffice part of their residential lawn care company while raising Jaxxon and Cooper.

State has a great accounting program and if she wants to be an entrepreneur, they have an entire support system to bring business ideas to reality and help get you funding.

My daughter still went to LSU.

Alabama has a highly regarded business school.
But, she followed her heart as so many teens may do. Can't blame her for that.
She'll find someone else. It's not like she's the first college freshman today that broke up with her high school sweetheart once in college

Starkville is a nice place and appeals to a certain student. Not everyone likes how big AU/UA has become. Even a % of alumni

I can’t believe she dismissed Auburn and Bama so casually.

I wouldn't have picked them either

We need a picture of this. Is it a cousin to the New Iberia Haircut?

Never even visited the top party school in the area? FSU is the place to be, if you are from south Alabama.

It is better referenced as Lower Alabama.

MSU appeals strongly to a certain type of person, I think. Very quiet, well-ordered campus, almost like a little slice of the former East Germany or something.

I can appreciate that place, but 4+ years there sounds pretty stifling.

I've gotta know, are Bama Bangs similar to the New Iberia haircut?

It’s not like she’s turning down Yale to go to SUNY something or another
