He's certainly the starter now. But I don't think he suits up in a Panthers uniform ever again. I think Hebert ends up in Carolina or LAC.

McCaffrey is a proven NFL badass.

Burrow had 1 1/2 good years in college, never know what type pro he will be.

No freaking way Carolina entertains this nonsense

Can the admins put the kabash on the daily Burrow trade threads? It’s tiring and the draft is still 2 months away

I agree because:

A) We need more room for XFL threads.
B) Content should be based on wildtigercat93's preferences.
C) The 1-1 draft pick in the NFL draft is not really a major sports story.

Wouldn't even take your call. You would be forwarded to the intern in the basement.

And that’s what the low IQ downvoters don’t understand. They’ve convinced themselves that Burrow is already an elite NFL QB and nothing anyone says or proves to them contrary will convince them that their emotion based opinion is wrong.

But I’m personally going to enjoy the mental gymnastics and terrible attempts at rationalizing his mediocrity as eliteness over the next few years.

You're an idiot. I don't know for sure what Burrow will be in the NFL, but I would much rather have him for 5 years on a rookie contract than a beaten up, shell of himself version of Cam at a much higher price. The most valuable asset in the NFL right now is a good QB on a rookie deal.

No way in Hell Cincy would even think about the deal.

A washed up Cam AND his salary?McCaffery is a very good RB but he's a RB and their careers are short lived. You can pick up good RB's in the 2nd or 3rd Rd.

Cincy fans should riot at the thought of the deal.

Yeah a good QB that’s not on a number one pick contract. Instead you get a likely less than mediocre one for $9 million a year.

It still amazes me how some of the posters on here are convinced that Burrow is already a HoF caliber QB when he hasn't even played a fricking snap in the NFL.

How did Delta know his kids had lice?

Friendly reminder that he threw a bitchfit on twitter. Because they wouldn't allow his kids on board a Delta flight with lice.
The best part about that was people digging up his old hot take where he actually wrote an article on that Asian doctor who was forcefully removed from the seat he paid for to make room for an employee. Travis wrote this:

quote:

That’s why I find this doctor to be the true villain in this story. He doesn’t own his seat, he doesn’t have a legal right to dispute his eviction, airlines have the right to kick people off their planes and refund their money when they decide to do so at their discretion. You agree to that when you buy the ticket. If you don’t want to give up that right you can drive or walk instead. Here is what you agree to when you purchase a ticket to fly on an airline in the United States. Of course, most people don’t actually read the fine print on their tickets. But your ignorance of the contract you’ve agreed to is no defense.

But then threw a fit when they did it to him.

Travis originally published an essay about the ordeal on his website, Out Kick the Coverage. In it, he explained that he, his wife and his three kids were traveling home from a family trip to London and Paris on Saturday when his 6-year-old son began scratching his head “halfway over the Atlantic.”

quote:

Concerned, Travis’ wife began searching the boy’s head, which alerted several flight attendants to the situation.

Soon afterward, Travis said the crew informed him that his family was to be quarantined on the plane after landing in Minneapolis — and that they would not be allowed to board their connecting flight to Nashville.

Upon landing, the family was made to wait on the plane until two medical workers could check the kids’ temperatures. They eventually left and headed toward customs, with the intention of boarding their connecting flight anyway, but “Nurse Ratched” returned with another official, who pulled his 6-year-old aside to confirm he had lice. (For the record, Travis said his sister’s children were suffering from lice just a few weeks prior, but added that his own kids had been treated with “all of the over-the-counter” lice treatments” before flying to Europe.)

This thread is dumb. No, the Bengals would not do that unless they know Burrow won't go. McCaffrey is the fricking man, but Newton isn't really a needle mover and iirc is about to cost an assload next year?

Nope.

McCaffrey will want to be paid big money very soon and Cam would cost too much for unclear production.

While there is no sure thing he will be great, a good young QB on a rookie contract is like GOLD in the NFL. It allows you to do so much more with your roster (Just look at KC). With that trade you might get one or two years from Cam/McCaffrey before they are looking for expensive contracts. I'd rather just take my chances Burrow turns out to be great.
