re: Rise of Ronin vs. Dragons Dogma 2

I haven't looked into the reviews in depth yet, but my understanding is that the games are quite different. I'm a Team Ninja fan in general, so I'm looking forward to Rise of the Ronin getting on PC, but DD2 is going to be very different from RotR just based on what I know of the two. It really is...

Recent update includes details about changing the original decision for NG+ vestiges to a more gradual decline (NG +1 has more present than NG+2) as well as adding a customizable NG+ system this year. Assuming that all pans out, that would address one of my primary problems with the game current...

There have been some valid complaints I've seen, but a lot of them are basically souls vets getting filtered for trying to play a souls like game exactly like Dark Souls and getting railed for it. That's a common thing though. I listed some of the valid complaints already. The performance comp...

Finished my first run. So far, I probably can say I enjoyed it more than DS1-3 and Elden Ring. I have not played Bloodbourne or Lies of P at the moment either. I mainly compare Lotf to DS/ER because it is actually souls like where as the majority of the games labeled souls like are only sou...

I've had little to no issues performance wise. That said, I also am on a 3080ti. I've let the raytracing stay on with overall high settings regardless, and the game looks fantastic. I imagine consoles would be struggling to handle the game....

re: Gaming PC- Where to start?
Also another question. How many games will be "worth it" on a gaming PC versus PS5? Like are most games capable of 4k 60 FPS on gaming PC's when they aren't on PS5?
Generally, all of them will perform better on PC compared to a console while also offering more customization option...
Understandable. I'll probably play MK1 casually. I'm not looking into it as a comp game since NRS balance tends to be a bit whack for my taste. That and NRS zoners are infamous....
I will mention just because I really got into fighting games seriously including online with Guilty Gear Strive in 2021, to be too old requires you to basically be on death's door  Most of the things people stereotypically assume they need to be super good at to be even remotely decent at f...
While I completely agree with this, building a pc isn't something that's done flippantly in terms of money
On surface level you're right, but I think things even out a lot more than most realize when you start factoring in game sales in addition to performance gains relative to how o...

Armor is not upgradeable in this game. Armor certainly matters because you will feel the difference in survivability if you run light vs heavier stuff. Best loadouts is not a very useful question because there's a lot of buildcrafting....

Rashid is out now I believe which includes a nice quality of life update for drive rush inputs. Also the number of entrants for SF6 at Evo is wild! It's over 7k already....

I've been very impressed so far with how they built on the first game with improvements to map layout, boss design, depth of buildcrafting, and various other details. I also really like how they approached the randomizer in 2 so far since I've seen more distinct differences between the layouts of th...

I'm planning on picking it up after having a really great time with the first. I've consistently heard that Remnant 2 is an improvement on the first one, which sounds great to me....
Multiple good recs in here, so I won't pile on them. Anime is generally not aimed at kids which is a huge misconception amongst a lot of the American populace. The majority of anime I've enjoyed I would never show to a kid  As for weird, it really depends on your bar for weird. A lot of '...

I've been very impressed with the game over time especially with how good the mechanics feel overall. I'm a pretty big fan of the drive system and how meter is handled in general. The characters have all felt fun to me so far as well even though I've primarily been playing Ken. The online so f...

I'm definitely glad they separated the rank system on a character basis so you can properly go through ranked with each character and learn the character. An excellent quality of life missing from a lot of fighters. I'm also glad the combo trials are mainly practical, real examples that actually ap...

Sounds like you're expecting arcade to be the story when they mainly focused on the world tour mode to be that. I haven't got around to playing that mode myself yet however, but I've heard good things about that mode so far....
